Purpose and Scope: The RMT exam measures the core knowledge of an entry level MT. For someone to recredential under the RMT, it must be proven that the individual still possesses entry level core knowledge - but the core knowledge of TODAY (rather than 3 years ago when they tested). Therefore, the recredentialing course includes new terms, procedures, drugs, HIPAA rules, etc., that have become common in the past 3 years, as well as the common terms entry level MTs encounter every day.
The course includes quizzes and a final examination that the candidate must pass in order to recredential. The passing grade is 75%.
